All About Poppy...

So unless you've been living outta space, been locked up for the past ten years or simply don't read (in which case, strange that you're here) you will have noticed how Cara Delevigne has conquered the globe. You can't blink without seeing Cara in your magazine, on the news, on billboards and on catwalks around the world. I personally don't get the BIG DEAL, yes she's a cool kid, but not what I would class as chic model material. Now onto Poppy, it took me a while but today 'I put two and two together' and it clicked that the lesser known Poppy Delevigne is Cara's older sister and she certainly is model material. She has the looks of a classic actress, a striking supermodel physique and none of the 'Rita Ora/Rihanna' baggage that plagues Cara. So in my opinion its time we stop focusing on wild-child Cara and start paying attention to her gorgeous, classy and classic sister Poppy Delevigne.

Louis Vuitton- Paris Fashion Week

So last week Marc Jacobs, with help from Kate Moss, created "the most glamorous-looking walk of shame ever" for Louis Vuitton's autumn/winter 2013 collection. The 1950s era and feminity were order of the day at the Louis Vuitton show. "I love a fallen angel" said Marc Jacobs of the show which was made up to feel like a glamorous grand hotel. Model after model including Kate Moss emerged from numbered doors, dressed in beaded and fur lined 1950s style coats worn over lace and tweed lingerie dresses, chic and movie star decadence doesn't even cover it.

But I have to say the star of this event had to be Naomi Watts, her styling for the show was just so on point. Naomi looked gorgeous in her white Louis Vuitton minidress, the very same one Cara Delevingne modeled on the spring 2013 runway. At 44, Naomi looked 10 years younger and even I'm now wanting to copy this look! Bravo Naomi, what with your recent style hits and fabulously touching acting in The Impossible, you are in my good books!

My Oscars Best Dressed!

I love this time of year! It's the time of year when you stay up on Los Angeles time to watch the stars arrive and come into the office the next morning spending your first hour talking Oscar fashion over your Starbucks Latte! I'm now catching up on Oscar highlights and I've already, yes already set my sky + for Joan Rivers 'Fashion Police' on E! So now I bring you my Oscar best dressed list. This year saw a lot of nudes, creams and metallics and I really noticed that 'old Hollywood Glamour' come back this year. My favourites of the night were Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts, Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron who were all in nudes, whites, metallics and they all had that stunning Hollywood, chic, feminine breathtaking style to them which I just adore.

London Fashion Week

Hey Dolls! So with London Fashion week all wrapped up for another year, I wanted to go over some of my favourite looks and collections that graced the runways for Autumn Winter 2013. Unfortunately this year I didn't attend any shows, but I did however get myself down to Somerset House to soak up the atmosphere and take in the fabulous, chic and sometimes outrageous street style
So now the good part, my favourites! I have to say that Mulberry totally won me over this year by going very luxe for Autumn Winter 2013. Nudes, creams and browns were the order of the day and designer Emma Hill gave us that classic Mulberry style mixed with a modern touch that we've come to expect from her. Another one of my favourite collections was by Central Saint Martins graduate and newcomer Simone Rocha. Her signature pieces are modern yet strong and romantic, which I love. Mixing girly pink hues with quirky shoes was another great choice as it added that element of fun to what could of just been a cute and girly collection!

Winter Edits

So with the snow falling down thick and fast here in London, I thought it appropriate to snuggle up by the fire and compose my top Winter Edits. I love nothing more then keeping stylish in the snow and I adore faux fur collars and scarves, chunky knits, beanie hats and lots and lots of layers. Here are some of my top picks, all chosen because they look simply fabulous!

iPad Mini Anyone...?

Hi Dolls! Its been so long, I've been so busy, but never meant to neglect my beloved City Dolls! So the title of this post kind of gives it away but I'm a very happy lady right now. Why? I hear you ask yourselves? Yesterday at work everyone in my company got gifted with an iPad mini! I'm still UBER excited as an iPad is something I've always wanted, but never treated myself to as I never really needed it, and having an iPhone I couldn't justify the price... Now I only have one little problem, which gorgeous case do I buy! I'm thinking a Marc Jacobs cutie! Anyway, Happy Christmas Dolls and hope you have a lovely festive season xoxo

Latest Obsesh: Isabel Marant Sneakers

Hey Dolls! It's been a while, but I'm back with a new obsession... I've really been in between trends as its that annoying time of year when the weather changes and you haven't a clue about what to wear! For this Autumn/ Winter I was really debating on which style route to take, I was thinking of adopting the Acne ankle boot look, or the Jeffrey Campbell boot look (but thought that'd be way to extreme for me) so in the end I decided my footwear staple piece for now would be the Sneaker Wedge. Seen on fashion bloggers the world over they really are become a trend favourite with snaps on Instagram, fashion blogs and high street stores creating brilliant rip-off copies! However the ultimate pair of wedge sneakers are the Isabel Marant brand which happen to be sold out almost everywhere! Never fear though as you can purchase look-a-likes from high street stores such as Topshop, Zara and River Island!
